IPS Device and Signature Management
IPS signature control is automated through RCG’s managed firewall service. Enabled options include IPS prevention, detection, and log and email reporting for five categories of IPS signature management:

High priority attacks
Medium priority attacks
Low priority attacks
Instant messenger (IM) applications
Peer-to-peer (P2P) attacks

Managed VPN Services
RCG simplifies the task of globally defining, distributing, enforcing, and deploying VPN policies for managed VPN gateways, keeping all remote sites in sync with the latest security policies. This also includes the VPN policies for the mobile users connecting with the Global VPN Client to the SonicWALL VPN gateways.

Centralized Reporting and Monitoring
RCG provides graphical reporting of firewall and network activities for the managed SonicWALL Internet security appliances. RCG will provide clients with a wide range of informative real- time and historical reports to provide insight into usage trends and security events. RCG also provides monitoring capabilities for fault and performance data analysis. Monitoring includes VPN and device up/down status, VPN statistics, uptime calculations, and security events.
